An open communist and Brazilian President Lula’s personal attorney are among the five Brazilian Supreme Court Justices who voted unanimously to uphold the Lula regime’s ban on X, which was court-ordered by left-wing Justice Alexandre de Moraes.
Five members of Brazil’s eleven Justice Supreme Court, including Alexandre de Moraes, voted unanimously, during a virtual court session, to uphold de Moraes’ ban on X, which comes as Elon Musk and the X platform refuse to cooperate with Brazilian censorship laws designed to consolidate the US-backed Lula regime’s informational and ideological control over the people of Brazil.

With the X platform blocked nationwide, VPN purchases among Brazilian internet users have skyrocketed, but President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and company aren’t going down that easy, and say that anyone who attempts to use a VPN to access the X platform will be tracked down and face a fine worth $9,000 a day.
In addition to upholding the X ban in their ruling, the Supreme Court panel also upheld the financial penalties, paving the way for the fines to commence.
While, at this point, much is known in the United States and around the world when it comes to tyrannical Justice Alexandre de Moraes, far less is known about open communist Flavio Dino and Lula lawyer Christiano Zanin, both of whom sat alongside de Moraes on the five-member virtual panel that upheld the X ban, and the free speech fines that go along with it…
Flavio Dino – An Open Communist
In 2006, Dino won election as a member of the Communist Party of Brazil to the Chamber of Deputies (the Brazilian equivalent to America’s House of Representatives), and in 2015, he became the first Communist Party Governor of any Brazilian state, when he won the governorship of Maranhão.
In 2021, Dino changed parties, officially becoming a socialist and holding a handful of additional government jobs before he was installed on the Brazilian Supreme Court by President Lula in 2024.
In the wake of the Supreme Court’s ruling, photographs of Flavio Dino holding a mock hammer and sickle while wearing a Maoist-themed red star hat have started making their way around the internet, exposing his intense affection for communism.
Cristiano Zanin – Lula’s Personal Lawyer
Much like Flavio Dino, Cristiano Zanin is deeply entrenched in Brazil’s left-wing political circles, and has served as a personal lawyer for President Lula, who installed Zanin on Brazil’s Supreme Court in August of last year.
As Lula’s personal attorney, Zanin fought to get Lula’s previous corruption convictions overturned, removing legal barriers to a renewed Lula regime (Lula served as Brazil’s President from 2003-2011 and went to prison for money laundering and corruption in 2017).
Zanin’s appointment to the Supreme Court has been heavily criticized by Lula’s opponents, who accuse him of rewarding his attorney for a job well done with one of the most powerful judicial postings in the entire country.
