Loomer shared FEC records showing Steve Scalise took massive donations from both Google and Facebook. Worse, FEC records show Scalise has been accepting contributions from Blackrock. On Wednesday, National File asked Scalise if he would release the J6 tapes as speaker. Scalise refused to answer. Despite winning the GOP Conference Vote, Scalise currently does not have the votes to become speaker. This, as McCarthy 2.0, which is a reference to Scalise, trends on X.
Loomer posted FEC records showing Google LLC NetPAC and Facebook INC PAC making large donations to Scalise for Congress. Loomer captioned the photos, writing, ” I don’t want a Speaker of the House who takes money from Google and Facebook. We all know Big Tech worked with the FBI and the Democrat Party to steal the POTUS Election from President Trump in 2020. Here’s donations to @SteveScalise from both Google and Facebook. Not good!

Things get worse from there, FEC Records also show BlackRock Funds LLC Political Action Committee has been donating to Scalise since 2014. 2014 was the same year Scalise became House Majority Whip .
On Tuesday and Wednesday, National File asked Scalise if he would release the J6 tapes. Scalise ignored National File’s questions both times.
Steve Scalise was silent when asked about releasing the J6 tapes. Good thing Scalise doesn’t have the floor votes yet. This dude is McCarthy 2.0 pic.twitter.com/JyiFzBNxEM

Matt Gaetz’s original list of demands for McCarthy to keep his speakership included releasing the J6 tapes. McCarthy failed to release the tapes so McCarthy lost his speakership.
McCarthy 2.0 has been trending on X. Clearly, the GOP base does not want Scalise to become America’s next Speaker of the House. This has caused a stalemate in the speaker selection process as GOP members of Congress are afraid to vote for Scalise on the floor publicly.
The House GOP is not expected to call for a floor vote until a candidate has the votes necessary to become speaker. Stay with National File for continuing coverage of the speaker’s race.
