Black curtains were draped over empty sections of seats at the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz campaign rally outside Phoenix, Arizona, where Democrats say they attracted their biggest crowd yet.

The Harris campaign claims that the rally in Arizona is their biggest yet, with The New York Times reporting that it drew over 15,000 people. For comparison, the Trump campaign has routinely pulled audiences well into the tens of thousands at campaign rallies and attracted over 100,000 supporters in Wildwood, New Jersey earlier this year.

In a post he made to Truth Social the day before the Arizona rally, President Trump slammed the media’s crowd size coverage and accused Harris of paying for her ‘crowd.’
In previous election cycles, Democrats have been caught red-handed paying Craigslist users at an hourly rate to show up to campaign rallies and pretend to be enthusiastic.
Thus far in 2024, the Harris campaign has relied on musical and dance performances by celebrities to attract supporters.
