The Hunter Biden Plea Deal announced on Tuesday ensures Hunter Biden will not face jail time or a felony charge for a handgun he illegally possessed. Most people in Hunter’s situation would be facing significant jail time. Past tweets from Biden prove that Joe is on board with Americans, not named Hunter Biden, facing serious charges for firearm ownership.
On November 30th, 2019, Joe Biden bragged on Twitter about his ability to keep handguns out of the reach of dangerous individuals. Biden’s tweet read, “26 years ago, I fought to get the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act passed — and established the background check system that has kept guns out of the hands of so many dangerous individuals.”
BIDEN CRIME FAMILY: Hunter Biden Takes Sweetheart Deal on Felony Gun Charge, Pleads Guilty to Tax Crimes
26 years ago, I fought to get the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act passed — and established the background check system that has kept guns out of the hands of so many dangerous individuals.
I’ve taken on the @NRA and beaten them — twice. As president, I’ll do it again.

Biden’s work as Obama’s VP and United States Senator disarmed law-abiding handgun owners, meanwhile enhancing Hunter’s ability to illegally possess a handgun due to their family’s political connections.
Biden has argued for expanding gun laws. On June 7th, 2019, Biden tweeted, “We don’t need to convince the American public that common-sense measures to reduce gun violence are a good idea. 2 in 3 people believe that we need stricter gun laws.”

Biden’s fight to expand gun laws is another example of Joe attempting to disarm law-abiding citizens while at the same time enhancing the power of criminals like his son.
Following Hunter Biden’s plea deal, the Biden White House released a statement that read, “The president and first lady love their son and support him as he continues to rebuild his life. We will have no further comment.”
Given the Biden DOJ history of targeting Republican voters, it is safe to assume if any Republican-voting American found themself in Hunter’s situation, Joe Biden and his DOJ would not offer a get-out-of-jail-free card.
Hunter’s plea deal is yet another example of Democrats’ embracement of the theory “animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”
