One of the most well-known, influential figures in the music industry has faced severe backlash over the rapper’s controversial political comments made earlier this month.
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, faced social media censorship on Instagram and Twitter after social media posts and comments he made that may have been antisemitic.
The rapper has blamed “Jewish media” and “Jewish Zionists” for having too much power and control over the entertainment industry.
“Jewish people have owned the Black voice,” and the “Jewish community, especially in the music industry, they’ll take us and milk us till we die,” Ye said.
Speaking with former CNN host Chris Cuomo, the billionaire rapper attacked a “Jewish underground media mafia,” claiming a “mob culture” of Jewish people has targeted him.

“You realize that when I wore a red hat that my life was threatened by my Jewish managers, by my Jewish lawyer, by my Jewish accountant, by my Jewish friends in the music industry,” Ye explained.
The famous rapper told Cuomo his recent comments were “not from a place of antisemitism” and “there’s a bunch of people in Hollywood that are actors, that play basketball, that play sports, that are in music that know what I’m saying. They feel what I’m saying, and that are happy that I’m saying what I’m saying.”

Over the past month of Ye’s very public commentary, he has had contracts cut by Balenciaga, Vogue, GAP, and CAA, one of the largest Hollywood talent agencies.
National File previously reported how JP Morgan canceled the billionaire’s bank account.

Ye still holds a contract with Adidas, which is worth billions of dollars.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), a pro-Jewish activism group, wrote a letter to Adidas urging “Adidas to reconsider supporting the Ye product line and to issue a statement making clear that the Adidas company and community has no tolerance whatsoever for antisemitism.”
A massive amount of social media users have ripped into Adidas for continuing to stand firm with Ye and not canceling their contract.
“Adidas has clearly decided to be the Nazi company. Again,” Democrat strategist Adam Parkhomenko commented on Twitter.
“It really is incredible that Kanye West could say, ‘I can say anti-Semitic things and @adidas can’t drop me,’ and Adidas chooses to do exactly that. Their silence says it all,” leftwing commentator Brian Tyler Cohen posted.
Tweeting a Vanity Fair article calling on Adidas to cut their contract with Ye, the far-Left author, and political commentator Molly Jong-Fast questioned “What gives @adidas?”
Various other social media users have called for a boycott against Adidas.
