Arizona Republican legislators have revealed that the number of votes certified by Maricopa County do not match the number of ballots counted in the forensic audit.
Arizona Senate President Karen Fann revealed on KTAR News on Tuesday the discrepancy discovered by the forensic audit of the Maricopa County 2020 election results, confirming that the number of votes tallied by the audit do not match those officially recorded and certified by the Maricopa officials. “They haven’t released a number yet, if you will, however we do know that those numbers do not match with Maricopa County at this point,” Fann told The Mike Broomhead show.
Fann confirmed that the votes are currently being re-tallied by “independent machines” by the Senate before the ballots will be returned to Maricopa County. “The vendor is finishing up what we call the aggregation: double-checking the spreadsheets against the blue tally sheets, against the scans they did on the ballots,” Fann said, “because before we turn those ballots back to Maricopa County, they want to make sure that every one of those check-and-balances match before they start doing the analysis of all the data they received.” (NATIONAL FILE PREVIOUSLY REPORTED: Audit Organizer Says Hundreds of Thousands of Ballots MISSING In Arizona, Boxes Full of Blank Ballots)
The machines are simply paper-counting machines, that “will help [the Senate] give like a third check-and-balance to see if those numbers are closer to the vendors’ numbers or Maricopa County’s or they all three could be right on target.” The machines are not from Dominion Voting Systems, whose machines were used by Maricopa County, and had come under fire for potential issues that could result in an incorrect vote count.
The fact that the votes did not match was then repeatedly publicized by a number of important Arizona figures, including State Senator Wendy Rogers, who has hit headlines as being one of the most America First senators in the state legislature. The official “Audit War Room” Twitter account, who monitors and posts updates of the audit, also confirmed the ballot match issues.

Arizona State Representative Mark Finchem, who is currently running to replace Democrat Katie Hobbs as Secretary of State, mocked Hobbs in a tweet. “This is the look you give when the numbers don’t match,” Finchem wrote, accompanying his comment with a photo of Hobbs looking rather confused. The far-leftist Democrat has been slamming the forensic audit in Maricopa County since the beginning, claiming it is simply a partisan operation designed to cast doubt on the supposedly-legitimately elected Biden.
