Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) slammed two super bowl commercials for their pro-Christianity message.
AOC took to Twitter to complain about two commercials that aired during the Super Bowl that had Christian messages in them.
The two commercials, titled ‘Refugee’ and ‘Love Your enemies’, compared refugees to Jesus Christ’s family and promoted the Christian belief that Christ loved all, even those that today’s society may hate.

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez claimed these advertisements made fascism look appealing. “Something tells me Jesus would *not* spend millions of dollars on Super Bowl ads to make fascism look benign.” AOC tweeted.

Left-wing outlets also jumped to attack the organization behind the commercials, ‘He Gets Us.’
‘He Gets Us’ started “with a diverse group of people passionate about the authentic Jesus of the Bible,” their website states.
The company hopes to foster “a movement to reintroduce people to the Jesus of the Bible and his confounding love and forgiveness.” ‘He Gets Us’ believes Christ’s “words, example, and life have relevance in our lives today and offer hope for a better future.”
The organization defines itself as an organization with no political or specific religion ties. However, the far-Left outlet known as Jacobin described the group as being funded by a “far right,” “rabidly anti-abortion and anti-gay” hate group, the Alliance Defending Freedom.
The Alliance Defending Freedom is a nonprofit that claims to be “committed to protecting religious freedom, free speech, marriage and family, parental rights, and the sanctity of life.”
