Fading television actress and leftist agitator Alyssa Milano promoted a GoFundMe to raise money for her son’s 12-and-under youth baseball team to go to Cooperstown, New York, the site of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Many people on the Internet felt that Milano’s son’s trip to Cooperstown was not a very important fundraising concern, and hilarity ensued.
“My son’s baseball team is raising money for their Cooperstown trip. Any amount would be so greatly appreciated. You can read more about the team and make a donation here,” Milano, also known as Alyssa Bugliari, tweeted, along with a link to a GoFundMe that has raised over $6,000 in total for various expenses for the team, which is called the “Birds.”
“Alert! Alert! Alyssa Milano’s son has a sports trip in Cooperstown and she has set up a GoFund me account. I want to alert everyone immediately so you can go to her website. It’s www dot I’m a dumbass b—- dot com” said Daisy Duke of Bama on X in an epic video message.
Commenters were rough, and Milano trended on X.
“Aren’t you Alyssa Milano?” tweeted Chrissie Mayr.
Viva Frei noted that Milano restricted replies on her tweet. Restricting replies is a coward’s move on the Internet.
Milano is best known as a child actress on the 1980’s sitcom “Who’s The Boss?,” in which Tony Danza played an unlikely male housekeeper. She then transitioned to roles in the Showtime film “Confessions of a Sorority Girl,” in the later seasons of “Melrose Place,” and on a show called “Charmed” where she literally played a witch. In her later years, Milano has refashioned herself as a Krassenstein-style leftist social media agitator whose ill-informed and self-centered rants generate considerable mockery in the political sphere.
