YouTube commentator and counterculture icon Felix Kjellberg, AKA PewDiePie, finally tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Marzia Bisognin in a surprise ceremony at Kew Gardens.
There have been many high points in the life of Felix Kjellberg, who has amassed nearly 100 million subscribers on his YouTube channel under the moniker of PewDiePie, but none so high as his surprise marriage to longtime girlfriend Marzia Bisognin on Tuesday.
Kjellberg, 29, revealed the nuptials on Instagram and Twitter accompanied by a series of stunning photographs.
The most famous man on the internet in the world opted for a striking all-black tuxedo outfit, with contrasted perfectly with Bisognin’s traditional white gown.

Bisognin, 26, is also an internet personality and former YouTuber. She posted about the wedding on her own social media.

The couple has been together for eight years, long before Kjellberg’s meteoric rise to fame as a Let’s-Play YouTuber, vlogger, and professional meme reviewer.
Kjellberg’s channel is less than a one million subscribers shy of the stupendous 100 million benchmark, and would remain the most subscribed-to independent content creator on the platform, as well as the second biggest channel behind Bollywood music conglomerate T-Series.
T-Series and Kjellberg had a much-publicized “subscriber war” in late 2018 through early 2019, during which many fans took the side of PewDiePie’s “9-year-old army” against T-Series and the symbolism of YouTube becoming a corporate marketing platform at the expense of individual creators.
For the past few years, Kjellberg has come under heavy attack from the mainstream media and unsubstantiated claims that he is an “alt-right” figure, a Nazi, and white supremacist. In December 2018 a high school teacher was caught on tape telling students they could be sued for “anti-Semitism” if they retweeted the PewDiePie Twitter account.
Despite this, the “Meme Review” host has maintained a cheerful attitude and continues to deliver a positive, light-hearted message to his fans through comedy and gaming videos, and through his loving relationship with his now-wife Marzia Bisognin.
