Following his presidential run announcement with Elon Musk, Ron DeSantis joined Trey Gowdy on Fox News. During the interview, Fox encouraged their viewers to visit RonDeSantis.com. Notably, DeSantis dodged an interview question about what he would do in Ukraine. Currently, Donald Trump is the only candidate running for President who has promised to end the Ukraine War and prevent World War 3.
As “visit RonDeSantis.com” flashed in the middle of the screen, Trey Gowdy asked Ron DeSantis, “How would you address the ongoing war in Eastern Europe between Russia and Ukraine on day one of the DeSantis presidency?”
DeSantis responded by talking about wokeness in the military before pivoting to saying that no U.S. troops would go to Ukraine, before then ending his answer by saying that “I think it’s completely unknowable what [ukraine] it will look like in January of 2025.”
He failed to address how a DeSantis administration would handle/end US financial commitments made to Ukraine, largely against the will of the American People.

The Governor of Florida has faced widespread backlash for his flip-flopping on the issue of Ukraine.
At first, DeSantis gave Tucker Carlson an America First-like answer on the conflict, but then he backpedaled and provided Piers Morgan with a Romey-Bush-like answer on what America should do in Ukraine.
