The Minister for Women from the Australian state of Queensland told the media that “anyone” who claims to be a woman “is a woman” and that men who claim to be women are part of her effort to “advance gender equality.”
Shannon Fentiman, a member of Australia’s left-wing Labor Party who’s currently serving as the Attorney General of Queensland, as well as the state’s Minister for Women, insisted to a reporter that “anyone that identifies as a woman is a woman,” and tried to justify her argument by citing the social justice cause of being “inclusive.”
“Let’s be inclusive,” Shannon Fentiman told the reporter.
“Anyone that identifies as a woman is a woman, and as the Minister for Women, I take a really inclusive approach, and we want to govern for all Queenslanders. But all people who identify as a woman, uhh, are part of our policies and strategies to advance gender equality. Because gender equality is inclusive. You know, it’s not one group advancing at the expense of another,” she went on.
Let’s be inclusive,” she added once more.
Footage of Fentiman’s claim that “anyone” who claims to be a woman “is a woman” was shared on Twitter by Rachael Wong, the CEO of Women’s Forum Australia. Wong ripped Fentiman for her support of Australian self-ID laws, which are allowing men to proclaim womanhood and invade women’s spaces, like locker rooms and public restrooms.

In response to pushback against her pro-trans agenda, Minister for Women Fentiman has blocked Wong from following or viewing her Twitter profile.

Australia isn’t the only country in its global neighborhood whose government has apparently fallen to the radical transgender lobby. As recently reported by National File, New Zealand’s Labour Party Prime Minister, Chris Hipkins, was unable to define what a woman is when asked by a reporter, and admitted that to answer such a question, he would need time to “pre-formulate” an answer.
