According to the comic book publisher, the new superman Jon Kent is a proudly LGBT man with a pink haired boyfriend. The “comic book industry” was congratulated in a flowery article for its decision to “increase LGBTQ+ representation”.
Apparently Jon Kent became the new Superman some time in 2020. It was revealed today, for the first time, that the young Superman capable of stopping a speeding bullet is, in fact, also attracted to men.
“Fans of the series probably won’t be surprised to learn Jon is entering into a relationship with Jay Nakamura, a hacktivist” IGN reports. They note that the newly released photos prove the “friends will become something more when they share their first kiss in issue #5.”

The article then devotes four paragraphs allowing the author to explain exactly how truly revolutionary and groundbreaking an achievement making Superman like men truly is, predicting it will allow more LGBT-themed comic books to make it to print. IGN then reveals that Superman will show his personal side in the upcoming comic books, which will explore the complicated stresses and demands placed on the new Kent.
Unsurprisingly, the announcement has received mixed responses.
Radio host Jesse Kelly claimed he “knew Superman was gay” when the comic book hero “didn’t take down Wonder Woman,” while author Michael Malice posted an old comic book cover and wrote, “I guess we should have seen the signs about #Superman.”

“Hollywood is trying to make Superman gay and he is not,” wrote Arizona state Sen. Wendy Rogers. “Just rename the new version Thooperman so can all know the difference and avoid seeing it.”
Newsmax host Greg Kelly agreed with the sentiment. In an all caps post made to Twitter, Kelly wrote that “Everybody knows Superman is not gay.” He added, “Girls liked him and he liked the ladies. He was seeing numerous women during the Superman movie. Not gay!”
Superman loves Louis Lane. Period. Hollywood is trying to make Superman gay and he is not. Just rename the new version Thooperman so we can all know the difference and avoid seeing it.
