Philadelphia experienced a second night of violence and destruction as Black Lives Matter activists continued sowing chaos in the streets after a justified shooting of an armed Black man Monday.
Black Lives Matter protesters were videoed chanting a violent anti-police chant during the second night of rioting and looting over the shooting of Walter Wallace Jr., who refused police orders to drop his weapon before charging at officers.
“Every city, every town, burn the precincts to the ground!” the protesters chanted as they moved through the streets. The mob engaged in violence, looting, and the pelting of police officers with projectiles.

One reporter was told by a female who was identified as Antifa to stop filming before the camera was ripped from his hand and he was brutally assaulted.
Protesters, many who were not at the scene of the original incident and who community members have stated are not from the area, took to the streets almost immediately after news broke about Wallace’s death.

Local area businesses were damaged and looted.

Over 30 officers were hurt in Monday’s rioting, including one officer who was intentionally struck by a truck.
More than 90 people were arrested Monday. Most were charged with burglary. Eleven were arrested for assault on a police officer.
The National Guard has been mobilized to assist local law enforcement.
