Iraqi-born security guard, Mohammad Hassan Al Bayati, 30, has been jailed for four-and-a-half years and will be required to serve a minimum of two years-and-a-half year behind bars.
He was caught on CCTV guiding the unsuspecting toddler to a secluded stairwell where he carried out the depraved sexual assault.
The assault lasted around ten minutes, after which he led the girl back to her mother where he admonished her for leaving her child unattended.

His victim is now at primary school and has received counselling. Her mother says her recovery will likely take years.

Mr Al Bayati was accused of reaching into the toddler’s underwear as he grabbed his genitals.

Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, has asserted that once Al Bayati serves his prison term, he will be deported.
Al Bayati will serve his sentence in Australia, before being deported.
It is unclear whether there will be any hurdles in deporting Al Bayati back to Iraq, and whether Iraq would accept him back.
Previous attempts to kick convicted criminals out of the country have been met with legal challenges through the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT), and subsequent appeals through higher courts.
Shadow Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus said the law was clear that there was no place for someone who had committed such crimes to remain in Australia.
Al Bayati arrived to Australia by boat in 2011, where he was given permanent residence to stay.
