A Portlander who was knocked unconscious in a sickening assault by a Black Lives Matter and Wall of Moms organizer has had over $60,000 raised in online crowdfunding service GoFundMe.
Adam Haner was attacked and beaten unconscious after receiving a kick to the back of the head by a man identified by police and media as Marquise Love. The assault occurred when Haner reportedly came to the defense of a transgender woman who was being robbed.
Haner then hopped into his truck and attempted to drive away from the mob until he crashed into a light pole. When the mob caught up with him, they dealt blows while verbally abusing him as he sat on the floor. Some rifled through his truck as he was outnumbered. The mob then dispersed as another fight erupted nearby, but Love, the primary assailant, ran back to deliver a cowardly boot to the back of the head.

Following the brutal attack, he was administered medical attention when his head cracked on the asphalt with a stomach-churning thud. Since the attack, Haner was discharged and expected to make a full recovery. Investigators revealed that they are searching for Love who has not responded to their attempts to make contact with the alleged assailant.

At the time of publication, Haner’s Go Fund Me page has reached over $104,000, far surpassing its intended goal of $18,000 to “help Adam get things together for his life after the attack he suffered.”
“I know he will need repairs, or to replace the truck that was wrecked,” Haner’s brother Brian writes. “He is going to need time to recover from his injuries as well. Plus replace things that where stolen from his pick-up that night.”

Brian spoke with Nationalist Review and confirmed that Adam had suffered multiple broken ribs as well as emotional damage. Adam’s girlfriend Tammie Martin was also beaten by the mob as she attempted to defend her boyfriend.
